GTA 6 Collector's Box Costs $400 — Game Not Included

Rockstar Unveils a Pricey GTA 6 Collector's Package

Rockstar has officially announced GTA 6: The Goodtime State — Vice City Collection, a premium collector's box priced at £349.99 / $399.99. Pre-orders are open now, though stock is described as limited, so demand is expected to be high.

There is one very important caveat worth knowing before you click buy: the game itself is not included. This is a merchandise and collectibles package only, meaning you will need to purchase GTA 6 separately to actually play it when it launches on November 19, 2026.

What Is It, Exactly?

Rockstar is positioning this as something akin to a traditional collector's edition, but without the disc or digital code that usually justifies the price tag on those bundles. Think of it more as a high-end themed merchandise set built around the Vice City aesthetic. Specific contents beyond that have not been detailed in early reports, so we'll update this article as more information becomes available.

Heads up: At $400 without the game included, this is strictly for dedicated collectors and fans of the GTA 6 setting — not a replacement for purchasing the actual title.

Is It Worth It?

That depends entirely on what you are after. A few things to consider before pre-ordering:

• Budget accordingly — factor in the cost of the game on top of this box.
• Limited quantities mean pre-ordering sooner reduces the risk of missing out.
• No game code means this is purely a physical collectible experience.

For the right kind of fan, a Vice City-themed collector's set could be a genuinely exciting piece to own. Just go in with clear expectations about what you are and are not getting for that price.
