Helicopter-Assisted Signage at Kaseya Center

With GTA 6's November 19, 2026 release drawing closer, Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have launched one of their most eye-catching real-world promotions yet. Giant lettering spelling out "Welcome to Vice City" is being installed across Miami's Kaseya Center — and the sheer size of the installation means a helicopter has been brought in to airlift each letter into its final position. Locals have been filming the process and sharing footage online, turning the installation itself into a slow-burning viral moment.

A Million-Dollar Deal With Community Benefits

The advertising arrangement is reportedly worth close to $1 million for Miami-Dade County, with the funds earmarked for developing a plot of land adjacent to the stadium for community use. It's an unusual structure for a game marketing deal, directly tying a major franchise promotion to a local public benefit.

Local Opposition

Not everyone is on board. Miami-Dade County Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz and Commissioner Bermudez have both spoken out against the campaign. Bermudez has suggested the money would be better directed toward plugging funding gaps in the county's law enforcement budget. Both officials also raised broader objections to GTA 6's content, citing the series' well-known depiction of crime.

It's worth noting that, as with previous GTA titles, players are free to cause mayhem in GTA 6 but that's far from the whole picture — the game is set to feature a large open world, a story-driven campaign, and the return of GTA Online-style multiplayer.

Whether you love it or loathe it, few marketing stunts in gaming history have required a chopper to pull off.
