There's a meaningful difference between a game running on a platform and running well on it. Based on IGN's assessment, GTA 6 on Steam Machine falls into the former category — playable, but likely requiring significant compromises:

Why This Matters for PC Players

For fans who primarily game on PC hardware in the Steam ecosystem, this is a useful early data point. If the Steam Machine — which sits at the modest end of the PC performance spectrum — can handle GTA 6 at reduced settings, it suggests Rockstar isn't building the PC version exclusively for high-end rigs.
